About ig.tools

ig.tools makes it easier to save publicly accessible Instagram videos, Reels, photos, carousel posts and current public Stories. Paste a link, review the media and choose a download.

A small tool with a clear purpose

No account is required. We show the media versions Instagram provides, without upscaling or adding watermarks. The separate MP3 tool converts video audio when requested. Files and previews load directly from Instagram’s content delivery network.

Independent by design

ig.tools is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Instagram or Meta. Instagram controls access to its content, and some public posts or current Stories may be unavailable to our downloader.

Please save and reuse only content you own or have permission to use. Publicly accessible content is not automatically free of copyright.
