How to View Instagram Highlights

A username or public profile link is enough to begin. Highlights are requested only after you select Load Highlights.

Enter the account

Paste an Instagram profile URL or enter a username such as @username.

Load Highlights

Open the Highlights tab in the profile result and select Load Highlights.

Browse and save

Open a collection, move between its items and use the download icon to save an available photo or video.

View what the public profile currently exposes

Highlight availability depends on Instagram. IG Tools cannot show private collections, expired links or media the source does not provide.

Highlights and current Stories

Highlights are collections saved on a profile. They differ from current Stories, which may disappear after their normal availability window.

Use the Stories tab for currently available Stories. Use the Highlights tab to request saved collections from a public profile.

Preview and downloads

Open a Highlight to preview its available photos and videos. Use the arrows to move between items, then the small download icon to save the current file.

Signed media links may expire. If a collection cannot be opened, try loading it again later.
