A normal photo post produces one media card. A carousel produces separate cards in the original slide order, including any videos mixed with the photos.

Download one item directly or select multiple carousel items to package them into one browser-created ZIP. Whole-account downloads are not supported.

Saving the available photo

The download button uses the largest available source URL returned for the post. If dimensions are available, they are shown on the media card for reference.

Can I download an Instagram photo in full size?

You can download the largest image variant Instagram makes available to the public post. The original camera file may not be exposed by Instagram.

Does ig.tools reduce photo quality?

No. Your browser saves the original CDN image directly; ig.tools does not recompress or resize it.

Can I save every photo in a carousel?

Yes. Each available slide appears in its original order and has its own download button. Select multiple slides to save them together in one ZIP.

Can I download photos from a private profile?

No. Private posts and content requiring an Instagram login are not supported.

Where is the photo saved on my phone?

Android usually saves it to Downloads. On iPhone, the browser may use its Downloads list or offer the Share menu for saving to Photos or Files.
