Use the post link
Copy the link to the specific public post, not only the profile. Confirm that Instagram can open the post without a login or age gate.
Refresh before retrying
CDN image links are temporary. Resolve the link again once when a preview or download has expired. Rapid repeated requests can make upstream limits more likely.
Try the browser's save menu
