How to Save Instagram Videos on iPhone
On iPhone, Safari may download an MP4, open it in a new tab or offer a Share menu. The exact behavior depends on iOS, browser settings and the returned file.
Need the file now? Open the Instagram Downloader to paste a public link and inspect the available media.
Resolve a public video
Copy the public post link in Instagram, paste it into the Instagram Video Downloader and wait for the media card. Keep the page open until saving starts.
Use Downloads, Files or Share
Check Safari's Downloads list and the Downloads folder in Files. If the video opens instead of saving, use Share and choose Save Video or Save to Files when available.
If a link has expired, return to the downloader and refresh it before saving again.
Respect source access
Only publicly available videos can be processed. Saving a file locally does not grant permission to repost someone else's work.
