Added marks versus marks in the original upload
IG Tools does not re-encode a Reel or add its own branding. It saves an available Instagram CDN file in your browser. If that file already contains a watermark, username, subtitle or editor logo, those pixels remain in the saved video.
Claims that every Reel can be made entirely watermark-free usually overlook this difference. Removing a mark from the uploaded video would require editing the image itself, which this tool does not do.
Save the available file
Copy the link of a public Reel, paste it into the Instagram Reels Downloader and inspect the preview. Use the small download control to save the available MP4. The available resolution and audio depend on the source response.
If the link has expired, return to the downloader and choose Refresh links. A fresh media URL can restore access, but it does not change marks embedded in the video.

Downloading a Reel does not transfer copyright or permission to repost it. Check the creator's terms and seek permission before reusing someone else's work. A clean source file and a right to republish it are different questions.
