Instagram Reels Downloader Not Working?
A failed Reel download can happen before media is found, while the browser fetches the MP4, or when it tries to save the file. Those stages need different fixes.

The Reel cannot be parsed
First open the link in Instagram and confirm that it points to the specific Reel rather than only a profile. Copy a fresh Share link and try again in the Instagram Reels Downloader.
A private, deleted, age-restricted or temporarily unavailable Reel may not be accessible to the tool. Instagram can also limit automated requests. Waiting is more useful than repeatedly submitting the same URL in rapid succession.
The preview works but the download fails
The source MP4 is served through a temporary signed CDN URL. Select Refresh links to request a current URL, then retry once. Check that your browser allows downloads and that the device has free storage.
If direct saving is blocked but the source opens, use the browser's normal save or Share option. IG Tools normally does not relay the video through its server.
The file downloads but is wrong
Check whether the MP4 plays in another video player and compare the selected dimensions. If audio is missing, distinguish a muted player from a file with no audio track. The no-audio guide explains the source limitations.
For a Reel inside a profile's recent-content list, open the Reel preview and use its download control; a profile URL by itself is not a direct media link.
Identify which stage failed, then refresh the link or fix the browser save path once instead of repeatedly retrying the same request.
