What the resolution label means
When dimensions are available, ig.tools displays the pixels of the file it saves. A 720 × 1280 label describes the returned MP4; the downloader does not request a new render from Instagram.
If dimensions are unavailable, the interface says so rather than labeling a file HD or 4K without evidence. File size alone is also a poor measure of visual quality because encoding and duration vary.
Why the uploaded original may be missing
